bah humbug

Well, Christmas is over, but the holidays arent.

Today I am in angst on if I should take down the Christmas decorations. See, I'm a teacher and I have this time off and I'm at home alone. The thing is, I don't want to appear to be all "bah humbug" but I like to be on top of things. We are going to MN to see my family at the end of the week and it would be SO nice to come home to things all nice and ready to start the year off right.

On the other hand, Christmas is kind of a magical time. If I take everything down, am I taking that magic away before it is time for it to be gone?

I will probably start today and finish tomorrow taking things down.

When is the day that I just get to rest?
