Lost and Found

Last time I wrote I could not find three different things. Here is an update for you.

1. My camera cord was located in a side pocket of a bag I put important stuff in for the move. I knew I put it in a place where I’d remember I had put it and promptly forgot where that was. So, welcome back computer cord, hello pictures of me in wedding dresses. Also to my delight are pictures from my trip to NYC with my parents. I will post these on my buzznet promptly.

2. My address book was hiding in a box of maps I had put together for the trip out here. I had put it in a place where I wanted to have easy access to it during the trip in case I had a hankering to call someone or write a letter on the trip. Obviously, that didn’t happen as I had forgotten the book was even missing until last week. Luckily, I have found the address book so that I can proclaim to the world that:

3. I FOUND A JOB!!! This job is within the religious order I am a part of. It is teaching a combination class of third and fourth graders. It is a SMALL class. As of right now I believe I have five students. I attended the church there today and am very happy to report that the people there are super friendly and welcoming. My classroom will be small, but hey, with five kids, who can complain about that!?! I will be getting the official paperwork about the position in 8 days or so. It is not a well-paying job (teachers are never paid what they deserve, especially in Christian schools) but it will be a satisfying one.

See, I knew God would take care of me. And I had my doubts? Thanks for all your prayers for me!

Tuesday is off to Minnesota for two weeks to celebrate the rest of my summer which has become all too short. I will be partaking in some more wedding dress shopping, some babysitting of my nieces and nephews, and getting together with my friends. I’m really excited about all of these things!

And to update you on the progress of my summer reading; I am done with Harry #1 and am working on Harry #2. This is also something I will plan on taking part in during the remainder of my summer.

Whew!
