Yard Sale

For the first time in a while, I am finally able to update. Thanks, Andrew. About time.

Well, today I sold a bunch of my crap, er, stuff, at a yard sale. I made a little over $50 on a bunch of stuff I didn’t want anyway, so that’s not too bad at all. So, I’ve sold a bunch of stuff I didn’t want now for a grand total of $115. This will at least get me a hotel room on the way to Kansas in two weeks.

Two weeks. Two weeks until my life changes permanently. There is no turning back now. And, currently, no employment. Keep praying, everyone. I had some interviews, so it worked, but I don’t know any definite results yet. So, get on those knees and lets get me a job!!

Back to the topic at hand:

It takes some guts to go to a yard sale the last half-hour of it and say, “So, are you giving your stuff away yet?” Uh, NO! Thus the word “Sale!!!” Sure, the prices have gone down considerably, but I’m not GIVING you my crap. I’ll give it to Goodwill or Purple Heart but I’m not giving it to someone perfectly capable of buying it.

And, my leftover stuff did just that. It is currently making its way to someone’s home where Purple Heart will come pick it up and it will go to good use, thankyouverymuch.

Weight Watchers has not been going well at all lately. Please help me, give me some motivation, and tell me I need to keep losing. Tell me that my wedding is only a year away. C’mon! Get the motivation in gear, PLEASE!!

The next three weeks of my life are going to be about the most hectic ever. I’ll tell you my schedule as it gets closer, but tomorrow is my last day at church here, so I imagine there will be lots of good-byes going on. I hope I can keep it together. It’s kind of an emotional “time” for me anyway, if you get my drift. Today I said goodbye to the lady at the Laundromat. She’s so nice and tells me everything will work out as God has planned. And I know she’s right.

And, at the end of those three weeks, I should be pretty close to getting off dial-up and on cable internet. Yay!

I’m trying to decide if I should do report cards tonight and get those over with and pack the rest of my kitchen stuff up tomorrow, or vice versa. I’ll have to think on that one for a while.

And, last but not least, I WILL be nursing a sunburn tonight, good thing I have aloe in the house, a whole big bottle of it, because I had a whole lot of sunburn. What was I thinking not putting any sunscreen on this morning?
