Lots going on

***** I've been trying to update my diary for two days, but every time I do, it says the server is busy (I'm too poor for gold membership), so editing my previous entry was the only thing I could do to update. So ignore everything after the second set of asterisks because it is my past entry...

I'm on my way to sell my soul, I mean, stuff, at a yard sale. By the end of this thing I may be the one paying people to take my crap. Please visit Christopias and go back an entry or two to read my fabulous guest entry. Due to the late arrival of my entry, it owas only up for a few hours in the middle of the night before it was taken over by Golf Widow . Have a great day and wish me luck at the sale! ****************************************

First of all, thank you for the comments you left on my last entry. It’s hard finding out someone you love is dying, and its hard listening to my best friend since 5th grade crying on the phone trying to choke out how she feels about it. I get to see my friend and her mom next weekend, I just can’t wait to give both of them a huge hug.

L is comfortable with dying because she knows that she is going to heaven when it does happen. Ten years ago, when two high school friends died in a car accident, my friend remembers a conversation with her mother about how L didn’t know where she was going to go when she died. Since then, L’s life has changed so dramatically.

***Disclaimer: It is not my desire to get into any theological debate about life after death with anyone.

And everyone is absolutely right, we need to let her take the lead on how she wants this time to go. And in the meantime, I am praying for a miracle. My best friend needs her mom!

Now.

On to a different topic.

I am reading diaries a little earlier than usual tonight because I HAVE to clean my apartment. My carpet is being cleaned on Thursday and I don’t believe the cleaners would appreciate the 15 half packed boxes scattered around my apartment. Lots to do, lots to do!!!

I went to my chiropractor for the last time tonight. I really, seriously, love that man. He worked on my jaw and made it feel so much better. He was so good to me over the two years I saw him. He even gave me a hug on my way out. If anyone in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area needs a chiropractor, let me know and I’ll give you his number! He’s so worth it!

I am, however, still IN love with my fiancé, Jeffrey. Wedding planning is going famously. We don’t agree on much. But I think that’s very normal.
