Conference

Last week I attended a conferene. I'm not much for conferences, but this particular one was religiously based, as I teach in a Christian school. It was JUST what the doctor ordered.

Lately I had found myself thinking things like, "HOW, oh how, will I make it through the rest of this year?" and "My students are driving my loco!" but the conference helped me put in perspective how much I enjoy the ministry I am involved in.

I love my students, and I love that I can serve the Lord by teaching them. I have found myself to be much more relaxed and myself in my classroom. I think I'm more pleasant towards my students and in return, they have been more pleasant towards me.

Another added bonus of the conference- it was like an alumni reunion. I guess it was a bonus, although some of the people I didn't really care to see, most of them I was really happy to get a chance to catch up with! It's amazing how much can be said in a five minute conversation.
