kcfortgiving

Well, tomorrow night at this time I will be waiting at the airport to board my a flight to Kansas City. I'm looking forward to being out of NJ for a while, and to see Jeff, of course. I will also get to see some of my family, which is a definite added bonus.

Not much else is going on in my life though. We have a half day of school tomorrow, thank goodness. We are all itching to get out of there, Christmas cannot come fast enough.

I'm hungry and I have very little food at my place. I have no bread, eggs, or milk. I did not want to get groceries with the whole going-out-of-town thing, so I will have to pick up lunch somewhere tomorrow as well as dinner at the airport.

Tonight my task is to get my apartment squeaky clean so that on Sunday night when I get back I do not have to worry about that. I am also going to begin packing. I am going to try to get all of my stuff into a carry-on so that I do not have to deal with the pain that is waiting for luggage and waiting in line to check luggage. If I am able to do this I will also be able to print off my boarding pass pre-leaving for the airport. I am doing all I can to avoid that holiday airport mess. I also heard on the news that the baggage handlers for USAirways had a sick-out the other day and luggage was a mess, and guess who I am flying with.

Anyway, that's all for now.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving, everyone!
