lauraandmattswedding
I just got in from my friend Laura's wedding. It was such a beautiful ceremony, a beautiful reception, a beautiful dance. I was a part of the wedding by saying the prayer for the meal. If you want to read the prayer, go back an entry. I wrote it myself, and I was very nervous, but received many compliments.I am so lucky to have a friend like Laura. We have been friends for less than 3 years but I feel that she is one of the best friends I will ever have in my lifetime. I am probably her only friend that has not known her pre-Matt. He is such a great fit for her and they make each other so happy, I can't imagine one without the other.
It was so wonderful to see Laura genuinely happy today- a way I don't see her often at work, unfortunately. That's what happens when you're boss is nuts.
But anyway, back to the sap. When I move, I will miss Laura like mad. I think I will have to make a yearly trip out to NJ just to see her. It's not everyday you make a friend like that. I just feel so blessed that she included me in her and Matt's special day and how welcoming her entire famly has been to me. They are such good people, God has placed them in my life for a reason. I love Laura and Matt so much, I feel overwhelmed with the urge to tell them that! I will have to do that sometime soon.
