celebration
Friday! Time to celebrate!I have a lot to celebrate today too, because I was able to get my lesson plans done between parent/teacher conferences today. I was also able to get my apartment clean and laundry done tonight. My plan for tomorrow: Sleep in! Then finish the cleaning ritual with dusting and vacuuming since by the time I got done cleaning it was too late to vacuum. I also need to grade all my papers from the week because I was so busy getting ready for conferences I haven¡¦t been able to keep up. That should go quickly though.
Then, I will thrift store shop. It doesn¡¦t pay for me to spend a lot of money on a nice winter coat for it only to fit me for one winter season. Hopefully I find something, because the next step is to look for sales, and I really don¡¦t want to waste money.
I will also watch a DVD, maybe go out, maybe not. I will do yoga. I will take a bath. With bubbles.
I will talk to my mom and my sister who are having a lovely time bonding without me. The first weekend in November in Minnesota is deer hunting season opener. So, my father and brother-in-law are away hunting. My mom and sister are going out to eat with my nephews and niece. I remember having ¡§deer hunting¡¨ weekend when my dad was away and we would eat out or eat food he doesn¡¦t like or go shopping. We would get together with another mom and daughter whose husband was out hunting with my dad. It would be so much fun to have our girl time. Those are some of my favorite memories. I¡¦m sad that I haven¡¦t done it since high school. Maybe when I move to Kansas City I can go up that weekend to rekindle some togetherness.
So, what else will I do this weekend? Try to find some new websites for Friday Finds next week. I get stuck in the same rut and look at the same boring things all the time, I need to get out of that! Also, I am going to look for engagement rings online. As Helzberg says, ¡§¡¦Tis the Season to be hinting¡¨
And a blissful time will be had by all. Especially Me. ļ
